Arrival at Gwalior Airport and Local discovery

You are met by our Dizkvr Experience Officer(DEO) at Gwalior airport around noon(12 pm).Transfer to the hotel( Taj Usha Kiran Palace).Discover the Glorious Gwalior while you do a heritage and food walk. Visit the Grand Gwalior Fort: Rightly called the pearl of fortresses in India by Babur, the majestic Gwalior fort is perched on an isolated rock outcrop towering over the old city. The turquoise tessellations on the facade make it stand out even from a distance.Located right inside the fort is the remarkable 11th century Sahastrabahu Mandir temple complex, with the larger temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the smaller one to Lord Shiva. These ornately carved twin temples in sandstone are an exquisite example of exceptional architectural beauty. Explore The Tomb of Ghaus Mohammed -dedicated to the teacher of famous musician ‘Tansen’. Pay homage to the music maestro at Tansen’s mausoleum. At the end of your sightseeing around the city, one of the most satisfying things to do in Gwalior is to stroll through the local markets and indulge in the culinary pleasures of central Indian Cuisine like Poha, famous Morena Gajak and Bedai. Head back to the hotel for the dinner.
In and Around the Orchaa, a former princely state of central India
Next morning, set off for Orchha after breakfast ( 3 hour journey). Dive into the ancient history and architecture with a visit to Jahangir Mahal that is described as a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectures, Sheesh Mahal that is a heritage hotel inside the fort complex and Laxmi Narayan Mandir dedicated to Goddess of wealth & prosperity, Laxmi. Visit the Chattris, or Cenotaphs that make a great spot to mesmerise your eyes.. Lunch at a local place. Sit by the Betwa river for sometime and hold the view in your eyes. Experience the Sunset at banks of river Betwa while a solitary row of cenotaphs stands on the banks of the river at the southern edge of town. Head towards Khajuraho for the stay as its the next destination to explore.Take a stop at the Alipura Palace- heritage hotel for the dinner and move towards the hotel at Khajuraho.
Delve in Khajuraho Temple Complex and evening transfer to Panna National Park

Gear up for your morning Jeep Safari in the dry deciduous forest to spot the wildlife and distinguished trees around and enjoy picnic breakfast amidst nature. Head back to the lodge to recharge yourself with the personalised lunch prepared with the local and fresh produce. Post lunch, get ready for some amazing evening Jeep Safari to encounter animals and birds. After around 5 pm transfer to the Ken River lodge and relax yourself.
